A structured directory of African minerals and metals

Each commodity carries its own unit of measurement, assay attributes and review requirements. Administrators maintain the directory directly, adding, editing, deactivating or restricting a commodity without any change to the platform itself.

Coltan is an ore from which tantalum and niobium may be recovered. Assay results record the specific contained minerals rather than the ore name alone. Restricted commodities — including uranium, thorium, mercury and other radioactive or controlled dual-use minerals — are never publicly listed and are never automatically approved. They are accessible only to the Super Administrator and authorized compliance officers following formal legal clearance.
